Butterscotch Sky on a Foggy Kansas Morning

----------------------------------------------------

On a recent early morning I looked out and saw fog forming as the sun was coming up.  This facilitated a trip to an area cemetery that I wanted to photograph the next time we had fog.  After snapping a few shots there I took a circular route to go home, and just happened by a happy accident to see this field lined with trees being enshrouded with fog.  Quickly I parked the truck, grabbed my camera and began to take photos.  Hearing laughter behind me I turned to see three men at the local electric coop on the opposite side of the road.  They were standing in a large open doorway watching me take photos. I imagine that they thought that I was some crazy old woman taking photos of an ordinary foggy morning.  Well, guys, there was nothing ordinary about that morning at all.  The fog was beautiful as the sun created warm tones through it.  I may never see that same color again.  It was like a butterscotch sky.  :)
